The certification process is carried out by printer manufacturers (IBM, EPSON) at the expense of the paper manufacture. These certifications are very rare in the market place due to the immense cost and how difficult it is to get certification.

Another concern is the life of the printer. Again, this is usually a result of the paper. Un-certified paper rolls are the major cause of damage to the printers ""print head"". One of the common forms of damaged printers is a receipt that has vertical blank (unprinted) lines - called banding. By being made from certified paper, our premium thermal paper rolls will not damage your printer more than standard operation.
