Our premium thermal paper rolls are manufactured here in Australia and have been designed to save you time and money. Our rolls are up to 65% longer than our competitors, however the rolls are the same dimensions so they will still fit in your printer. We achieve the additional length through our manufacturing process. By using thinner 58gsm paper, thinner core and tighter winding method we have a minimum length of 76m.

Thermal rolls are not all the same. 2 seemingly identical roll can have many small differences that can combine to cost money, damage your printer and give a poor receipt. Most paper available on the market in Australia is fully imported and devised to appear cheap.

7 Year Image Life

One of the biggest complaints about thermal paper receipts is that the print fades very quickly, this again is a reflection of the quality of the paper.?á Franks Stationery thermal cash register rolls are made from certified paper with a 7 year image life*. The certification process is carried out by printer manufacturers (IBM, EPSON) at the expense of the paper manufacture. These certifications are very rare in the market place due to the immense cost and how difficult it is to get certification.

Certified Paper

Another concern is the life of the printer. Again, this is usually a result of the paper. Uncertified paper rolls are the major cause of damage to the printer's print head. One of the common forms of damaged printers is a receipt that has vertical blank (unprinted) lines—called banding. By being made from certified paper, our premium thermal paper rolls will not damage your printer more than standard operation.
