240-960ml BioBowl Lid

This BioBowl lid is made from Ingeoª Ð an ingenious bioplastic made from plants, not oil. This lid fits our 240, 360, 500, 700 & 960ml clear BioBowls. Certified industrially compostable. Note: suitable for cold use only.

• BioPak clear bowls may look and perform like any other plastic bowls, but ours are made from Ingeo™, a plant-based bioplastic.
• Using Ingeo™ reduces raw material CO2 emissions by 75% compared to regular plastic resin.
• These clear bowls are certified commercially compostable to Australian AS 4736 standards and European EN 13432 standards.
• Suitable for serving cold meals like salads.
• Bioplastics must be stored out of direct sun and below 35°C. If stored correctly, they have an indefinite shelf life. Bioplastic does not have suitable oxygen barrier properties to store food for more than a few days.
• These clear lids are banned in WA from 1 September 2024. They can be used if food is pre-packed and displayed for sale. Australian states are implementing different single-use plastic bans
