Made from fire resistant glass fibre material.

Fire Blankets are suitable for fires of:

Class F: Cooking Oils or Fats

Fire blankets are ideal for commercial and residential settings where small Cooking oil or fat fires (Class F) fires are a risk.
Fire blankets extinguish fires by cutting off the fire's supply of oxygen, to smother it.
In commercial situations, a fire blanket should be kept wherever oils or fats, being used in cooking appliances, are a potential fire risk.
Always read the instructions for your fire blanket before use - located on the storage pouch.
As with any emergency situation, you should alert others to the fire and evacuate the area. You should also have someone contact the fire department in case the fire cannot be extinguished.
Always have an escape route ensuring the fire is not between you and the exit.

Open the fire blanket and hold it in front of you to shield your body, hands and face from the fire. Cover the burning material completely, ensuring there are no gaps for air to reach the fire.
If safe, shut off any gas or other fuel supply involved in the fire and contact the fire department if you haven't done so already.
Leave the blanket in place for at least 30 minutes to allow the oil or fat to cool.

Manufactured to Australian Standard AS/NZ 3504

(Not suitable for electrical fires)
