280-630ml Clear RPET Takeaway Lid

Our rPET clear lids are great for packaging cold food. They are not compatible with hot foods, microwave or oven heating. This is the matching lid for the 280, 480 & 630ml sugarcane takeaway container bases. Recyclable in most councils.

• PET & PP lids are made from conventional plastic and are non-compostable, and our bioplastic PLA lids are made from Ingeo™ and certified industrially compostable (AS4736).
  
• These container lids are banned in WA and will be banned in SA starting 1 September 2024. 
• Temporary exemption in SA until August 31, 2029: Businesses can use clear single-use plastic square or rectangular food containers with detachable lids made from polypropylene (PP) or polyethylene terephthalate (PET) when serving very hot food or displaying food in fridges or hot environments without suitable reusable or compostable alternatives.
• Exemption in WA: Businesses can use clear Plastic/PLA Lids only when displaying pre-packed food.
